PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The moon, a source of light in the night sky, helped people in the past. Even today, people rely on the moon phases as a calendar. As a source of hope, one can follow the moonlight in hopes to break through any glass that stands in one's way.
PROJECT DIRECTION
The shape of the opening in the glass resembles an eye. I decided to create a nighttime scene and added the moon to emulate an eye. From there, I kept the "light in the night sky" theme in mind as I worked on this image.
FINAL ARTWORK
FINAL ANALYSIS
Reviewing the image, I thought that I could add red drops around the opening in the glass to emulate blood tears. However, quickly dismissed the idea when I considered the unsightly contrast between the dark blue and the dark red. I think the final product depicts the theme I got in mind while working well.
